[case-study-color] #0075a2 [/case-study-color] The UN Booking Hub app is a United Nations inter-agency platform designed to support humanitarian workers in booking essential logistics services across numerous countries worldwide. The application facilitates the organization and management of field activities, contributing to the efficient delivery of humanitarian aid. Supported services also include mobility management through a network of chauffeured vehicles, UNHAS humanitarian flights to reach hard-to-access areas, access to accommodation facilities, the use of contracted clinics and health centers, the booking of operational spaces for field activities, engineering services for setting up temporary structures, the opportunity to participate in digital auctions for asset disposal, the organization of maintenance services for vehicles and equipment, and finally, advisory support.
Since 2018, we have been participating in the development of the digital platform at the service of the United Nations, actively contributing to its evolution and ensuring its management.
Our agency is engaged in the project promoted by the World Food Programme (WFP), which is now adopted by a wide ecosystem of United Nations agencies, including: UNHCR, UNICEF, WHO, IOM, UNDP, FAO, UNOPS, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNMD, IFAD, UNDSS, UNRWA, and the UNHAS service for humanitarian air transport. Powered by WFP, the platform is designed to simplify access to services, improve coordination, and increase the effectiveness of interventions in the field. OTIX is a partner in the management and evolution of this digital ecosystem, coordinating key strategic and operational aspects to ensure continuity, scalability, and accessibility. The work takes place in an interdisciplinary and multicultural context that requires a balance between strategic vision, technical capability, and constant interaction with institutional stakeholders, with a continuous focus on the social impact of the project.
Our agency's involvement testifies to our capacity to operate in international contexts with high technological, logistical, and communicative responsibility.
Today, the platform boasts numbers that reflect its centrality in global humanitarian operations through a digital network designed to simplify logistics and implement traceability and safety: a single point of access for thousands of humanitarian workers engaged on the ground every day.
